How Acupuncture for Weight Loss Works

acupuncture, Sacramento, weight loss Add comments

Here’s a great news story by ABC about how acupuncture can help with weight loss.

The method described in this story is suppressing cravings for foods like sweets or chocolate, and also reducing stress which can lead to impulsive eating, overeating or not eating healthy.

Needles are also not always required, because small seeds can be placed in the ears to stimulate acupuncture points.

“People who practice acupuncture believe when a person overeats, it’s because the body is out of balance. The goal behind this ancient art is to restore balance by freeing up blocked energy channels called meridians,” the story says.

If you’re interested in treatment, be sure to drop by our Sacramento area clinic to set up an appointment for acupuncture for weight loss.

You can read a text version of the story here at abc7.com.
